We, the fans, live to experience the beauty of live music. We wait patiently for our favourite artists to reach our cities, and hope always that the day comes soon.

Unfortunately, the scalping industry, referring to those that purchase tickets for the sole purpose of profiteering are taking advantage of our community. The scalpers profiteer inordinate amounts from the wealthiest fans who are the only ones who can then afford to go. What happened to a fair go?

Ticket scalping should be made illegal in Australia and the websites that facilitate this practice should ban any premium ticket sales.
